Happy LAST Day of School, Woodland Hills! Check out the fun line-up of events we have planned today! Looking forward to seeing everybody again this afternoon at the car parade. 🚗🚙🚌 Hope you can find some time to celebrate another great year today! ☀️🎉
Woodland Hills Family, we are so excited to see you (from a safe distance) TOMORROW for our parade! 🙂 👏
Click the link below to see the route our staff will be driving. A school bus will be leading the parade, followed by all of the teachers and staff. 🚌🚗🚙🚗🚙🚗🚙 The route travels a majority of the Woodland Hills boundaries, but it does not cover every neighborhood or house. If the parade doesn’t pass directly by your home, we hope that you are able to make it to a different street on the route. ❤️🤞Please be mindful of social distancing.
Thank You! 👇Parade Route👇
Woodland Hills Teacher Parade this week on Tuesday, March 31st starting at 2:30 PM. We will make our way through all WD neighborhoods. The staff cannot wait to see all the students and families again! We will be sending love from a safe distance. 👋♥️#WDGivesLove #WeGotThis
Yesterday, 10 Woodland Hills students had the opportunity to participate in our first ever Waukee 5th Grade Honor Choir. The students had come in early before school for weeks to rehearse the music. Yesterday they spent the day rehearsing with other 5th graders in our district, synergizing to create an amazing concert last night.
The students made us all proud by being leaders in their behavior, their hard work, and positive attitudes!
Way to go, 5th Grade Honor Choir! :) #LEADAtWD
It's that time of year again! WINTER WARMTH DRIVE will run from Monday, September 30th to Friday, October 11th. Please bring any new or gently used items to Woodland Hills and place in our donation boxes. Thank you so much for your support!
I feel privileged to serve as an education leader in a district with high expectations for all stakeholders and dedicated professionals and families committed to partnering together to meet the needs of all learners.
At Woodland Hills, we strongly believe that all students have leadership skills. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People are integrated into our current school traditions, systems, curriculum and culture, and work in close connection with our school-wide PBIS, guidance, and classroom curriculum. It is our goal for students to internalize the timeless leadership principles that nurture skills students need for success in the 21st century.
